В Німеччині вирішено терміново передати Україні зенітно-ракетний комплекс Patriot. Німеччина вирішила надати Україні ще один зенітно-ракетний комплекс Patriot, щоб допомогти їй захиститися від потенційних повітряних атак з боку Росії.
Ця новина стала відомою завдяки офіційному заявленню німецького відомства. За словами представника відомства, цей комплекс буде переданий Україні додатково до вже наявних систем протиповітряної оборони, які також планується передати.
Очільник відомства, Борис Пісторіус, зазначив, що Берлін робить усе можливе, щоб підтримати Київ у контексті німецької оперативної готовності. Він підкреслив, що російські терористичні дії проти міст та інфраструктури України призводять до значних страждань для населенн. Це ставить під загрозу енергопостачання та промислові об’єкти, які є ключовими для українських збройних сил.
Ця ініціатива німецької сторони передує активним переговорам, які велася Україною з її союзниками. Зокрема, міністр закордонних справ Дмитро Кулеба заявив про “активні переговори” стосовно отримання двох батарей системи протиповітряної оборони Patriot та однієї – SAMP/T.
Раніше на Форумі дипломатії воєнного часу Кулеба визначив постачання протиповітряних оборонних систем в Україну як один з головних пріоритетів роботи МЗС у 2024 році. Також, він закликав до негайних дій з постачання ППО Україні та зазначив, що Україна не втратила б Трипільську ТЕС, якби мала достатньо систем Patriot.
