Поліція Берліна вирішила демонтувати намети, які були встановлені пропалестинськими протестувальниками у центрі міста. Цю інформацію передає агентство dpa, зафіксоване виданням “Європейська правда”. Протестувальники встановили намети в урядовому кварталі як частину свого протесту проти дій Ізраїлю у секторі Гази, і ця акція тривала вже понад два тижні.

Після тривалого розгляду ситуації поліція Берліна прийняла рішення заборонити подібні форми протесту та повідомила про це організаторів акції. Вранці приблизно 150 правоохоронців розійшлись по місцевості, щоб демонтувати близько двадцяти наметів, які були встановлені перед будівлею уряду. Це супроводжувалося закликами через гучномовці до протестувальників розійтися. Всередині наметів знаходилося близько 20 учасників акції.
Представники поліції пояснили своє рішення заборонити такий тип протесту тим, що учасники табору вчиняли різні кримінальні правопорушення, включаючи підбурювання до ненависті. Також зафіксовані були випадки застосування сили проти правоохоронців. Крім того, намети, розташовані в центрі міста, не відповідали ряду вимог, зокрема, стосовно захисту зелених зон і деяких будівель.
У той час, коли ця ситуація відбувалась в Берліні, група британських правозахисників вирішила вирішити цей конфлікт через суд, намагаючись заблокувати військову допомогу Ізраїлю. Також у Франції конфлікт на тлі ізраїльсько-палестинської ситуації вилився в сутички в елітному університеті.
