У Німеччині починається суд над звинуваченим у шпигунстві на користь РФ військовим офіцером. У понеділок перед судом з’явиться німецький військовий офіцер, якого звинувачують у шпигунстві через передачу інформації російській розвідці. Інформацію про це оприлюднило агентство DPA.

Прокурори стверджують, що обвинувачений, відомий лише як Томас Х., незаконно передавав інформацію російським спецслужбам. Зауважимо, що не має доказів, які свідчили б про отримання ним грошової винагороди за це. Щодо конкретної інформації, яку він міг передати, деталі не розголошуються.
Обвинувачений мав звання капітана і працював у Федеральному управлінні Бундесверу з питань техніки, інформаційних технологій та службової підтримки (BAAINBw). Ця установа, що базується у місті Кобленц, відповідає за постачання збройних сил Німеччини технікою, озброєнням та розробку оборонних технологій.
Томаса Х. арештували у 2023 році в Кобленці, провели обшуки в його будинку та на робочому місці. Звинувачення прокуратура висунула в березні цього року.
Це не перший випадок шпигунства на користь Росії серед працівників німецьких служб безпеки. У грудні 2022 року Федеральна прокуратура заарештувала співробітника Федеральної розвідувальної служби Німеччини Карстена Л., його спільника Артура Е. затримали в січні. Ці особи підозрюються у шпигунстві на користь Росії та передачі конфіденційної інформації.
