Уряд Німеччини вимагає жорсткої реакції на насильство
Міністерка внутрішніх справ Німеччини Ненсі Фезер та міністри внутрішніх справ 16 федеральних земель виразили бажання посилити законодавство для захисту політиків та їх помічників під час виборів від політично мотивованого насильства. Цю інформацію передає “Європейська правда”, з посиланням на DW.
Уряд Німеччини вимагає жорсткої реакції на насильство
Ця заява була зроблена після спеціальної відеоконференції, яка була скликана внаслідок нападу на депутата від Соціал-демократичної партії Німеччини (СДПН) Маттіаса Екке в Дрездені. Влада Саксонії повідомила, що принаймні один з чотирьох підозрюваних нападників належав до ультраправих. Міністри внутрішніх справ підтримали ініціативи Саксонії та Баварії щодо посилення покарань за фізичні ушкодження та напади.
Міністр внутрішніх справ Бранденбургу Міхаель Штюбген, який очолив конференцію, найрішучіше засудив напади, вказавши, що поточне законодавство не відповідає загрозі для активних учасників політичного життя. Він також відзначив, що насильство стає дедалі більшою загрозою для демократії та правового порядку.
Міністерка внутрішніх справ Фезер назвала напад на Екке “надзвичайно жорстоким актом насильства” і закликала до негайних дій. Вона також відзначила зростання числа нападів на політиків у країні та вимагала суворого покарання для винних.
Учасники конференції обговорили також майбутню конференцію з відновлення України, яка відбудеться в Берліні, та домовилися про збільшення заходів безпеки під час передвиборчих кампаній.
