Посол Німеччини заявив, що нова система ППО IRIS-T прибуде в Україну в травні. У травні до України прибуде нова система протиповітряної оборони IRIS-T, походженням з Німеччини. Ця важлива інформація була оголошена послом Німеччини Мартіном Егером під час інтерв’ю, яке було транслювано національним телемарафоном у понеділок, як повідомляє “Європейська правда”, цитуючи “Інтерфакс-Україна“.
Німеччина надасть Україні ППО IRIS-T2
Егер розповів про надходження нових систем IRIS-T у травні цього року, а також про обіцянку постачати подібні системи впродовж наступних двох років. Це свідчить про послідовну роботу з розширення протиповітряної оборони, що є важливою складовою безпеки.
За словами посла, німецька підтримка України буде розвиватися відповідно до її потреб, і наразі найбільша потреба української сторони полягає саме у системах протиповітряної оборони. Наразі в Україні вже функціонують дві системи ППО Patriot з Німеччини, і очікується, що найближчим часом буде доставлена третя система.
Чи буде НАТО захищати небо України?
Слід зазначити, що федеральний уряд Німеччини відмовляється від можливості участі НАТО у протиповітряній обороні України, що вказує на самостійний підхід країни у цьому питанні.
Глава МЗС Литви Габріелюс Ландсбергіс висловив думку, що держави Заходу мали б розглянути можливість направлення в Україну своїх військових інструкторів. Це вкрай важливо для навчання українських військових та забезпечення їх додатковими системами протиповітряної оборони, щоб захистити їх від можливих російських атак.
