Жорсткіше покарання за підриви німецьких банкоматів
Федеральний уряд Німеччини готує запровадження більш жорстких заходів через значне зростання кількості підривів банкоматів, які здійснюють злочинні угруповання останніми роками. Про це повідомляє “Європейська правда” з посиланням на спільну заяву Міністерства внутрішніх справ та Міністерства юстиції Німеччини.

Новий урядовий законопроєкт пропонує встановити покарання за підрив банкоматів у вигляді тюремного ув’язнення на строк не менше двох років. У випадках, коли злочин призвів до тяжких ушкоджень здоров’я людей, покарання може складати від п’яти до 15 років ув’язнення.
Документ також передбачає надання поліції додаткових повноважень для розслідування таких злочинів, зокрема можливість прослуховування телефонних розмов підозрюваних.
“Кожен, хто підриває банкомати, ставить під загрозу життя непричетних людей. Ми маємо справу з небезпечними злочинними угрупованнями і дуже небезпечними вибуховими речовинами. Тому повинні мати можливість суворіше карати за такі злочини”, – пояснює голова Міністерства внутрішніх справ Німеччини Ненсі Фезер.
Згідно з урядовою статистикою, кількість зломів банкоматів у Німеччині зросла на 26,5% з 2021 по 2022 роки. Це є найвищим показником з 2005 року, коли почали вести відповідну статистику.
Підриви банкоматів, часто організовані злочинними угрупованнями, не тільки завдають банкам збитків у сотні мільйонів євро, але й призводять до тяжких травм і навіть загибелі сторонніх людей.
Подібні злочини фіксуються і в інших країнах. Наприклад, у Греції було заарештовано реп-виконавця, який грабував банкомати для фінансування своїх музичних кліпів.
