Німеччина та Британія підписали оборонну декларацію
Міністри оборони Великої Британії Джон Гілі та Німеччини Борис Пісторіус підписали у середу важливу оборонну декларацію. Цей документ який зобов’язує обидві країни до поглиблення співпраці у сфері оборони. Про це повідомляє “Європейська правда” з посиланням на британський уряд.
Німеччина та Британія підписали оборонну декларацію
У прес-релізі зазначається, що цей документ має на меті зміцнення оборонної промисловості Великої Британії та Німеччини, посилення євроатлантичної безпеки, підвищення ефективності спільних операцій та протистояння новим викликам безпеці, таким як кіберзагрози. Також декларація передбачає зміцнення підтримки України.
Цей документ є першим кроком до нових оборонних відносин між Великою Британією та Німеччиною, а також до нової британсько-німецької оборонної угоди, про яку обговорювали канцлер Німеччини Олаф Шольц та прем’єр-міністр Великої Британії Кір Стармер під час саміту НАТО у Вашингтоні.
“Наша нова оборонна декларація між Великою Британією та Німеччиною стане початком нових, глибоких оборонних відносин, заснованих на спільних цінностях наших народів”, – сказав Джон Гілі. Раніше міністр оборони Великої Британії заявив, що за нового уряду лейбористів країна стане провідним членом Північноатлантичного альянсу в Європі.
Канцлер Німеччини Олаф Шольц також оголосив про поглиблення співпраці з Британією. Країни домовилися розробляти 155-мм самохідні артилерійські системи з дистанційним керуванням (RCH 155) та обговорюватимуть співпрацю в енергетичних проєктах, зокрема німецькі інвестиції в енергетику Великої Британії.
